My Story
This is (almost) all about me.I do a lot of stuff and my story is pretty cool if you ask me. Read below to get to know my story.
My Mission.
I’ve always been drawn to the word “glue”. I like the idea that something isn’t normally seen, but is the force that keeps things together and strong. My mission mirrors this.
I believe my purpose in life is to bring people together to build a lasting impact.
This is true in everything that I do.
In my profession as a marketer, I help anyone from individuals to enterprise-level businesses bring people together by building a community around their brand.
My passion project, Givi Media, unites the world’s greatest change-makers and do-gooders by telling their stories and building a community of people who want to make a difference.
For my personal brand; Matt Martinez Digital, I aim to help others find success online, while maintaining a fulfilling life offline. How do I do this? By creating a community of digital natives.
So, at the end of the day, while my many different ventures seem to be vastly different, the central theme of acting as “the glue” and bringing people together to build beautiful communities acts as the central foundation for who I am and what I do.
My Story.
I’ve decided to write this in the third person. It makes me look significantly cooler, plus I have a feeling it might be better for SEO (;
Matt Martinez was born in 1999 in Glendale, CA to parents Myrene and Marion Martinez. Matt has one sister, Micaela, as well as several dogs.
At a young age, Matt was not one to do things “normally”. He spent time drawing, dreaming, and crafting up ideas for inventions. This trait of doing this “outside the box” has carried out throughout his entire life and continued to be a nagging reminder of who and what he was capable of.
For 18 years, Matt was pushed into the medical field. In fact, in high school, Matt was convinced he was meant for healthcare when he lead the Valencia High School Medical Science Academy/ Sports Med program to become the #1 program in CA two years in a row. Additionally, he continued his excellence as a top 20 finisher in Washington, an All-American Sports Medicine student in 2017, and an integral part in leading the program to a top 3 finish in WA and the National stage in 2017.
While these achievements fueled a desire to be a nurse, Matt always knew he was meant for more.
In 2018, Matt left the pre-nursing program and all of his years of experience to pursue a major in Organizational Communication. This path eventually lead him to become a marketer, taking over the advertising department at Vonazon at just 20 years old.
Currently, Matt resides in Topanga, CA, where he works remote as a Senior Performance Marketing Manager at MuteSix. He enjoys his time with family and friends, creates content to help new marketers, and stays busy by line dancing at The Canyon in Agoura Hills.
Matt is a down to earth, fun guy, and invites anyone reading this to hit him up for a cup of coffee and conversation.
